Prof. Saleh Al-Mezal, MU's rector, took part in the fifth consultative meeting of university rectors in the Kingdom, which was held under the patronage of H.E. the minister of Education and the chairman of Universities Affairs Council, Mr. Yousef Al-Benyan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Al-Benyan appreciated the government's support to the educational sector, particularly universities, which manifests its belief in education as a vital player in achieving the Kingdom's vision 2030 and developing human capabilities. This empowerment should be harnessed by all universities to meet the growing demand of the labor market.
The meeting also addressed different topics related to improving the education system at universities including financial sustainability, Process governance, and alternative income diversity
