At a ceremony held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Education, Mr. Yousef Al-Bunyan, the Applied College at MU signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sa'i Foundation for the Rehabilitation and Employment of Persons with Disabilities, which is a non-profit endowment foundation that seeks to invest in the energies of persons with disabilities by providing professional rehabilitation services and providing job opportunities
The MoU aims to offer training and advisory expertise for both sides. It also focuses on supporting community projects and programs, conduct field training for students, and create job opportunities - if possible - for students graduating from the college's program.
Part of the MoU's principle is to design diplomas for people with disabilities that align with the requirements of the labor market and train currents students to be employed.
The MoU was signed by the CEO of the Applied College at MU, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Sa'i Foundation, Mr. Marzouq bin Omaria.
