The MU Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren patronized the launch ceremony of the university 2nd strategic plan at the main auditorium of main campus. The ceremony was attended vice-rectors, deans, directors as well as the director of Education Department in Majmaah, Dr. Saleh Al-Rabia.
A rhetorical ceremony was held on this occasion which began a beautiful recitation of the Holy Qura’a followed by a speech for the head of 2nd strategic plan committee, Prof. Mohammed Al-Rukban who commended the achievements made by the university since its establishment. Dr. Al-Rukban mentioned that the University led by the Rector has always a clear vision and objectives that are achieved collaboratively by all employees. The university has even exceeded the objectives stated in the 1st strategic plan in many aspects, Dr. Al-Rukban added. With regard to the preparations for the 2nd strategic plan, Dr. Al-Rukban, said based on a directive received from the Rector to embark on the 2nd strategic plan, the team reviewed the former plan along with the international trends in higher education to complete the 2nd plan.
Addressing the audience, the Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude with the completion of the 2ndstrategic plan. Dr. Al-Mugren attributed this achievement to the unconditional support received from the government of King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz as well as the efforts exerted by the university employees.
