MU RECTOR LAYS FOUNDATION STONE OF UNIVERSITY SCHOOL PROJECT

The MU Rector Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren laid the foundation stone of establishing the university school project (male and female) with a total area of 2.68.000 square meters. The project which will cost 35.697.680 S.R. incorporates primary, middle and secondary levels along with kindergarten and nursery. A rhetorical ceremony was held on this occasion attended by the Director of Education in Majmaah, Dr. Saleh Al-Rabia as well as vice-rectors, deans and directors.

The Dean of Prince Salman Institute, Dr. Hamad Al-Omran delivered a speech where stated the vital role played by MU in achieving the sustainable development for all governorates served by MU. The presence of the Rector is an obvious evidence of his great concern about the development of education for it is optimal way of building the society. Dr. Al-Omran concluded his speech by extending appreciations to everyone who contributed in bringing this project to reality.

Regarding the details of the project, Eng. Fawzan Al-Fahad provided a concise illustration of the cost and duration of executing the project.

Addressing the public, MU Rector Dr. Al-Mugren delivered a speech where extended appreciations to the audience, particularly, Dr. Al-Rabia for his honorary presence. Dr. Al-Mugren attributed this magnificent achievement to the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz which values education. The project is the result of collaborative cooperation from all employees and King Salman Institute in particular for its invaluable role in making this project achieved, added Dr. Al-Mugren. The Rector concluded his speech by emphasizing that the real resource of this country is not oil but students.
