SPECIAL CEREMONY HELD BY MU ON NATIONAL DAY 89TH

Majmaah University held a ceremony to celebrate the national day 89th in the presence of Majmaah Governor, Prince Abdelrahman Al-Saud. The ceremony which was organized by PR General Department took place in the auditorium of main campus.
The ceremony began by listening to the national anthem followed by a beautiful recitation for the student, Salem Al-Humaidani.
A promo was then played narrating the history of celebrating the national day at the university including all media and film production of previous years.
Addressing the audience on this occasion, MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren delivered a speech welcoming the honorary presence of Majmaah Governor, Prince Abdelrahman Al-Saud.
“I extend my sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz on the national” said Dr. Al-Muqren who thanked the government’s considerable concern with education in general, and MU in particular, which have had a substantial impact in supporting the process of learning in this country.

Several messages were embedded in the Rector’s word, on top of which, attributing all blessings surrounding this country to the grace of God at first place then the government which has invariably considered citizens in the center of its attention. He encouraged everyone to be united and to serve the country as well as to step away from the acts that might harm the country.
He added that the reformation and development process witnessed everywhere in this country reflect the prudent decisions made by the government along with the serious and sincere efforts exerted by the citizens in making the Kingdom a successful and prosperous country.
MU shall maintain its tendency to invest in human capital which will lead eventually to development.
Following MU’s speech, a presentation was shown highlighting the twenty most important achievements for MU over the last ten years, including administrative and academic both locally and internationally.
The major events, activities and meetings held by the university were also demonstrated in the presentation, on top of which the upcoming 23rd meeting of rectors and directors of gulf universities and educational institutions.
Then an operetta entitled “ Hemma Hatta Alqimma” –A determination to reach top- was performed by a group of students which narrates the history of unifying the country by the late King Abdul Aziz – May God rest his soul in peace-.
Majmaah Governor, Prince Faisal Al-Saud, addressed the audience with a speech commenced by congratulating the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince as well as the Saudi citizens this invaluable occasion of national day. His highness expressed his gratitude for participating in the celebration held by MU, a promising university which is making headlines at all levels.
Attributing these achievements to the unlimited support of the government led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Crown Prince, Prince Faisal commended the administration of MU - led by Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren- for applying the management criteria which makes the university a great model to be emulated.
“ In conjunction with this occasion, we should remember that we live in a full-fledged country historically and geographically. Thus, it is imperative that we stand in the face of any harm approaching this country” said Prince Faisal.
In recognition of their contributions to the university, Majmaah Governor Prince Faisal and MU Rector, Dr. Al-Muqren honored retired staff of the university who have served for years.
