The Center for People with Disabilities at the Social Responsibility Observatory organizes a Forum

The Center for People with Disabilities under the Social Responsibility Observatory at MU organized a Forum for the elderly in collaboration with the women’s section of the Da’wah, Guidance and Expat Awareness Association in Majmaah. The event was held at the University camp during the evening as part of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two sides. The forum featured a variety of awareness sessions and activities.

The College of Business Administration, represented by the Community Service Unit, delivered a lecture titled “How to Start a Small Business Without Risks?”, presented by Dr. Arafa Jibril, which covered key principles of small business planning and risk mitigation strategies.

The College of Applied Medical Sciences, represented by the Physical Therapy Department, gave a lecture titled “Health Fitness: Your Wellbeing at Every Age,”. The lecture was delivered by Dr. Shaikha Al-Sahali and Dr. Hind Al-Mutairi and highlighted the importance of physical activity across different stages of life.

The forum was attended by approximately 130 beneficiaries, including 12 elderly participants from the Taqdeer Elderly Care Association in Zulfi. The event ended with giving away 10 Umrah tickets sponsored by Tawteed Hajj and Umrah Company along with several valuable gifts.
