A Workshop on preparing sustainability reports according to GRI standards

The Social Responsibility Observatory organized a workshop titled Preparing Sustainability Reports According to GRI Standards to promote sustainability and governance practices within institutional sectors.

The workshop was presented by Dr. Jameela Al-Harbi, Supervisor of the Community Service Department. It addressed an introduction to sustainability, the importance of sustainability reporting, and its role in enhancing transparency and disclosure across organizations. The session also highlighted the GRI Standards, their framework, and their impact on improving institutional performance.

The workshop focused on the three pillars of sustainability, the process of identifying material topics and measuring their impact, as well as stakeholder engagement. It also addressed key challenges and best practices in implementing GRI Standards effectively.

The workshop is part of a series of initiatives organized by the Social Responsibility Observatory to empower participants and develop their skills in line with modern trends in sustainability and social responsibility.
