The Committee of E-portal Content Translation held its second meeting under the chairmanship of HE the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, on Thursday, 20/6/1436 AH in the meetings hall of his office. The Vice Rector started the meeting by welcoming the attendees and urging them to continue the efforts they have been making to achieve the objectives of the committee. The meeting discussed after that adding editors and an editing coordinator with a statement of their duties within the committee. The meeting parties set and adopted after that the remunerations of the Committee members and translators. Mr. Ayman Ghalib, the committee member, went then through the problems and obstacles translators (committee members) face proposing solutions to avoid them. The meeting reviewed then the committee works report to be released in the media and to clarify the new mechanism of the system of the e-portal content translation. A proposal for marketing the new translation system with its new mechanism through King Salman Institute for Studies and Advisory Services was discussed in the light of the recommendations of the committee of electronic transactions. His Excellency the Vice Rector, the chairman of the committee, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari thanked in the end the committee members and translators for their efforts and wished all success for everyone. He pointed out that the work of this committee comes in the context of excellence the University reached in translating all the content of the electronic portal of the university and in updating translations following any update of the original Arabic texts together with setting all translations and using e-work in all procedures.
