In charge of HE the Vice Rector and the Head of the Committee of Formulating the University Budget and Monitoring its Items Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al- Dosari, the first meeting of the Committee was set on Tuesday 01.10.1435, at the meeting Hall of HE’s office at the beginning of the meeting HE welcomed the new members of the committee, then they discussed a number of issues received from the Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs and gave some recommendations, including the emphasis on a number of university authorities like the Public Administration of the Facilities and Services and the Public Administration of for Operation and Maintenance and the Public Administration of Security and Safety, and the Project Management to quickly submit their financial expenses before the end date of claiming. Also, the Committee followed the developments of preparing the university's budget for the financial year 1437/1436 in addition to the integration of some of some items and submitting other expenses.
In this context, HE the Vice Rector praised the efforts made by the Public Department for Administrative and Financial Affairs in the development of the budget preparation and taking advantage of the observations that have been found through communication with officials in the Ministry of Finance mechanism, and for overcoming the obstacles to take full advantage of the university's budget items.
Also, it has been assigned to the project management and technical affairs follow-up and coordinate with the General Department of Administrative and Financial Affairs, to address the urgent inclusion of urgent buildings projects in Zulfi into the university's budget for next year under the guidance of from the Ministry of Higher Education.
