The housing committee of university staff and who like them continues their meetings chaired by the Vice Rector, Dr. Musalam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, to follow up the housing works. The Committee reviewed a number of issues and have been taken a number of recommendations for them as follow:

Emphasis on all departments to follow up what belongs to them of electricity, sewage system and telephone network, maintenance, cleanliness, safety and security services. The Secretariat of the committee should coordinate with the department of utilities to follow what has been done about these services and report the committee back about that.

Create a subcommittee of the permanent committee to work on the design of an electronic system for housing in line with the approved list for housing and composed of the procedures and forms to connect it to the Deanship of Faculty Members database, then providing the system with all personal information and scientific certificates, experience and deduction of monthly rental fees and others, as well as linking it with General Directorate for Administrative and Financial Affairs. The committee also discussed with the Director of Department university Security and safety about electronic portals for university housing system, and what has been done about this idea and requirements in implementing this system. It also reviewed what have been done about connecting landline telephone and Internet for housing and emphasize on the Deanship of Information Technology to connect network to Majmaah and Zulfi housing quickly ,it discussed also the mechanism for determining the electricity, insurance and water fees, and determine the rental of housing units in accordance the difference between the two categories of residential units (A - B).
