The Vice President Inaugurates the Ceremony of "Salati Qurrat Aynee" at Zulfi

In inauguration of the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren; Zulfi College of Education organised a ceremony under the name of "Salati Qurrat Aynee" at Zulfi college Campus, where HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam Al-Dosary inaugurated the activities of the ceremony on HE behalf. The ceremony was attended by His Excellency Zulfi Governor Mr. Faihan bin Abdulaziz bin Lebdah. Also, the inauguration of the ceremony and the accompanying exhibition was attended By HE Zulfi mayor, HE the Director of Education at Zulfi, HE Zulfi hospital director, and HE the president of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice Centre. Also, HE the director of the holy Kora'an memorisation centre, HE the Director of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Administration, HE the President of Zulfi Charitable organisation, and the Dean of Technology College. Also, HE the Director of the Industrial Institute, HE the Director of Entrepreneurship Centre, HE the Director of Zulfi Youth Welfare Office, and a number of other governmental departments representatives. Also, a number of colleges participated in the exhibition, as Majma'ah college education, Zulfi college of Science, the College of Business Administration and the Deanship of Student Affairs in addition to the Department of Public Relations at the University. 
 
The ceremony was initiated with verses from the holly Quran, then a speech of Zulfi college of Education Dean Dr. Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Suwaiket in which he explained that the college made this ceremony in memorial for prayer, showing its virtue, importance, and greatness, through awareness programs, training courses, manuals and speeches and lectures, inside and outside the campus, since it is the main worship. Then he expressed his thanks to God and then to the governors of this blessed country, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz - may God protect and bless him - and the Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin bin Abdul Aziz on the continuous support for universities and higher education, and then to the Ministry of Higher Education. Also, for Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren who sponsored this event and encouraged to establish it. After that he gave his thanks to His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, who acts on behalf of HE the Rector to inaugurate this event, and then he thanked the partners of Zulfi college for the success of this event, who are: the Department of Education, the College of Technology, the Industrial Institute, and the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. Also, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Association of the holly Koran memorisation, Birr Charitable organisation and the Office of educating communities. In addition, the Institute for Entrepreneurship, the human Organisation, Zulfi Youth Welfare Office, and the Deanship of Student Affairs. 
 
Also, Majmaah College of Education, Zulfi college of Science and the College of Business Administration. After that HE the Vice Rector Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari gave a hospitality speech in which he welcomed everyone, led by His Excellency Zulfi Governor, who honoured the college with his presence and participation. Also, he welcomed the guests of the University who are the heads of governmental departments, and expressed to them thanks and greetings from the Rector and Zulfi College for its initiative in establishing this ceremony, and commended the program's and activities undertaken within the ceremony, then HE briefed on the importance of such activities in indicating the virtue of prayer and its importance in the life of Muslims, and stressed the need to establish such educational activities yearly. Also, HE wished that this ceremony will achieve its proposed aims. Then HE concluded the event by thanking everyone and announced the results of competitions held by the college within the ceremony activities; namely the competition on a book entitled (prayer) for Prof. Dr. Abdullah Al-Tayar, and the second competition for the best documentary film about the prayer. The awards were handed over for the contestants, which were about 7000 SR. Then, the university Vice Rector honoured the participants from inside and outside the university. After that, everyone moved to the lobby of the college to inaugurate the exhibition which was attended by eleven governmental departments, and a number of university colleges and its supporting Deanships. All guests wandered at the exhibition and expressed their unrevealed admiration in terms of organisation, perpetration and professionalism in work. Later on some light competitions were set up for the audience, and then everyone moved to the inauguration of the gallery of (our environment to where? ), Which was held on the sideline of the ceremony and prepared and implemented by a number of (60) college employees and students, this had a significant contribution in checking the soil of the province. An integrated report was handed over to His Excellency the Vice Rector, who expressed his admiration for the work, which will show its effects to maintain the environment.
 
After that, everyone moved to the inauguration of (Honourable Hadeeth rectification) lab which is considered as the first lab at the university, and a unique one among universities in terms of processing and integration of the content. This lab aims to train and give the students of Islamic Studies skill of hadith rectification and judgment on its correctness in foliar and electronically.
 
HE the Vice Rector expressed his thanks to Zulfi College to adopt such projects, and the Department of Islamic Studies for this initiative in giving the students the needed research skills, and wished to transfer this experience to the rest of the colleges where there are Islamic studies departments. Eventually everyone moved to the inauguration of e-learning laboratory which was implemented by the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning, where HE inaugurated the laboratory and everyone looked at its facilities, noting the importance of investing such facilities to spread the culture of e-learning. Finally, those in charge of such project were honoured.
