Under the auspices of the Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Bin Mohammed Al-Dossari, the University Internal Audit Administration held an introductory workshop on the importance of internal auditing. Mr. Abdul Aziz Mohammad Al-Thumairi, the Director of the Internal Audit Administration, began the workshop with an introductory speech, in which he briefly recapped the establishment of the administration, and its tasks. The workshop, which was presented by Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Abbas, the Dean of the Faculty of Finance and Administrative Sciences at King Khalid University and the Executive Director of the Saudi Society of Internal auditors, targeted the leadership of the University and its officials who enriched the debate with a number of inquiries about internal auditing. The Vice-Rector, Dr. Musalam Bin Mohammad Al-Dossari, concluded the workshop with a speech, in which he explained the importance of the internal auditing and cooperation among all of University parties in order to reach the highest level required in this area. Dr. Al-Dossari also extended his thanks to Dr. Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Abbas for the honor of presenting this workshop, and to the Internal Audit Administration and its employees on the outstandingly well-organized setup of the workshop. Finally, the Vice-Rector urged everyone to put more effort in everything that serves the nation and the public interest of the University, its students and employees.
