The Administration organized the Hiraf Exhibition under the patronage of the Vice-Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Shehri. This initiative is part of the administration’s efforts to foster creativity, innovation, and position the library as a hub of knowledge and community empowerment.

The Administration organized a daily Ramadan competition titled Smart Researcher from 2–20 Ramadan 1446 AH. More than 100 students participated in the event.
The contest aimed to strengthen research and exploration skills while encouraging students to make full use of the university’s library resources. Each day, a new question was posted requiring students to consult a book to find the correct answer. The first correct respondent received a daily cash prize of 200 SAR.

This library was recently established to create a safe and inspiring learning environment for children, reflecting the administration’s commitment to expanding access to its services and nurturing a love of reading from an early age.

The General Administration of Libraries and Knowledge Resources earned second place in MU Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence. This recognition crowns the administration’s ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and elevate its services to the highest quality standards.

The achievement reflects a deep commitment to sustainable excellence, supporting the university’s educational and knowledge environment and strengthening its leadership in teaching, research, and community service.

An exhibition and discussion sessions was held to highlight the importance of reading and protecting intellectual property. The event also featured awareness brochures and an interactive corner where participants exchanged book recommendations.
