This unit specializes in quality to activate the quality system in the field of e-learning in all the activities of the Deanship in light quality standards and the requirements of the National Authority for Assessment and Accreditation Standards, and the dissemination of the culture of quality. Also, the continuous improvement and propose plans to develop the deanship academically and administratively.

During the last period, E-learning is one of the most important issues that preoccupied the researchers, academics and technicians and that is due to its significant competition issues raised about its quality, it  witnessed a rapid growth at the global level. Predictions by the interested organizations indicate to its continuous grow to the highest pace in the foreseeable future as a result of factors, mostly concentrated on  the growing number of Internet users and the growth of e-learning market.

Supervise the development and quality processes in the deanship, and determine the necessary training needs, and the implementation and evaluation of training and professional development programs, and develop the necessary quality control and improve work performance in the deanship.

Vice-Dean's Message

In the middle of the rapid technical changes, the Deanship of E-Learning seeks to take advantage of the various technologies in the field of higher education. The role of the Agency of Technical Affairs is to build an integrated IT system, supervise it and make sure to keep it in constant development. And within this agency enrolls the E-learning management programs, the E-courses, E-tests, electronic simulation programs, and the other electronic supplies.

This unit deals with training and professional development and prepare, coordinate and follow up everything that relates to the training and development of the Deanship employees and faculty members in the field of e-learning and distance learning. The unit director is assigned by a decision of the Dean after the nomination of Vice Dean for Development and Quality, and is associated to the Vice Dean for Development and Quality administratively and organizationally and he submits an annual report on the progress of the work and activities of the unit.
