● To receive the applications to the postgraduate studies and to make sure that they meet the admission requirement to the various sections and the inclusion of their names in the deanship’s database
●to sort and classify, and to set up files in lists to be sent to the concerned departments in order to complete the admission procedures

The Unified Bylaws of Postgraduate Studies in Saudi universities has defined the Deanship’s tasks as follows:
- Contributing to the enrichment of the human knowledge in all its branches through opening the Postgraduate Studies program in various disciplines to attain innovative scientific and practical additions
