Message from the Head:

I would like to welcome you to the Department of Medical Education (DME) which was founded since the establishment of the College of Medicine in 2010. The primary responsibility of the department is to assist academic departments in undertaking academic tasks such as curriculum design, teaching and learning methods and students evaluation based on the modern medical education field.

Part of the department’s role is also to provide a wide-range of services, educational consultations and training for faculty members, committees and units in the field of learning.

About the department:

The Department of Pathology was founded since the establishment of the College of Medicine and includes several units:  Diseased tissue and hematology unit, microbiology unit, biochemistry unit and forensic medicine unit.

The department participates effectively in the educational process and supervises teaching many courses such as: Fundamentals of health and disease, course of hereditary and cancerous diseases, multisystem ailments course, forensic medicine course and toxicology.

Large & small classrooms:

The College has large and small classrooms that feature interactive board to ensure Project-based learning approach is applied.

 

Laboratories and museums:

Anatomy museums and classroom provide medical students with optimal tools and materials to enable them to transform their knowledge of anatomy into three-dimensional concepts for better understanding of human body.
