Overview: The aim of this award is to encourage undergraduate and post-graduate students to read and summarize books to develop their knowledge.
Requirements:
1. Application is made via the link of the award
2. The form of summary for read books should be sent to the Dean’s Office of Library Affairs’ email: [email protected]
3. The form of summary can be obtained from the the Dean’s Office of Library Affairs’ website
Seventh Category: Best Authored and Translated Book Award
Overview: Best Authored and Translated Book Award: This award is granted to the best authored or translated book
Requirements:
1. authored book should be in one of the theoretical aspects of sharia, linguistics, literature, science, health, engineering and humanities.
2. authored book should serve the strategic plan of the university and all areas of development in Saudi Arabia
3. authored book should not contain any idea or theory that violate Islamic thought.
Sixth Category: Graduation Project Award:
Overview: This award is granted to the best graduation project with innovative idea that solves a pressing problem. Best presented project is selected by a committee for its creativity and value.
Requirements:
1. The project should be a graduation research.
2. Candidates should be regular students at the university
3. One project from every department is selected for the award
Fifth Category: Entrepreneurship Project Award:
Overview: After the entrepreneurship project is submitted, the idea of the project and its potential of being both invested and developed is evaluated. The project should serve the knowledge economy and can be turned into a practical model that can be marketed. The project should be presented as a business-model and the various stages as well as a feasible study must be included.

Fourth Category: Inventions and Innovations Award:
Overview: This award is granted to one research whose works have scientific value and are designated by scientific and health discoveries or invention and patents.
Requirements :
1. The topic of the participation should serve the community and labor market
2. The original idea of presented work should be for one of the work members; any form of scientific dishonesty or infringement of intellectual property will not be accepted.
3. Number of individuals in the presented work should not exceed (5)
Third Category: Publishing in Renowned Journals Award:
Overview: This award is granted to 3 best published papers in renowned peer-reviewed journals or first-rate journals based on the average of impact factor.
Evaluation Criteria:
1. Publish in renowned periodicals: number of published papers in renowned international periodicals (Nature or Science journals)
2. Excellent publications: number of published papers in first rate periodical based on impact factor of scientific journals.
Overview: This award is granted to the researcher who carries out original academic works.
