The Department of Educational Sciences offers several educational courses that qualify the student to be a competent teacher by following state-of-the-art educational methodologies and taking into account the psychological and mental aspects of students.

The department aims to qualify students as specialized teachers who have the skills and abilities that enable them to work efficiently in the field of education for all levels.

The department was established in the College of Education in Zulfi in the month of Safar 1413.

The college was named as the Intermediate College for Girls in Zulfi, awarding the diploma of the intermediate college to teach the primary stage. It included the following sections:
• The Department of Arabic Language and Social Sciences
• The Department of Quran and Islamic Studies
• The Department of Science and Mathematics
• The Department of Home Economics and Art Education
