Student Council 

1- General jurisdiction:

It is a consultative body aimed at achieving effective students’ participation in university decision to develop the educational academic process. It also deals with the views of students about what is offered to them from the educational activities and services to gain access to an ideal society of a perfect knowledge.

2- General regulations:

1 - The formation of the consultative Board is upon the College Board's decision, and it is as follows: -

Tasks

#Administrative and Financial Affairs:

1 - Chairing the College Board and supervising the organization of its affairs, inviting to attend its meetings, implementing its decisions and sending the minutes of the meetings to the University Rector.

2 - Applying the rules and regulations of the Council for Higher Education.

3 - Achieving higher goals and policies in King Saud University.

Functions of College Vice Dean for Development and Quality:

1_ Reinforcing the concept of quality and disseminating the culture of it at the college level or the Institute.

2_ Supervising implementation of the quality program in the College or the Institute

3 _ Supervising performance evaluation at the College or the institute

4_ Supervising implementation of the evaluation and academic accreditation program

Authority

# Authority of the Dean:

1 - Selecting college vice Deans and academic department heads and submitting recommendations for appointing them to the Rector.

2 - Approving the minutes of the meetings of departments Councils, and he has the right to object to their decisions within fifteen days from the date he receives them.

3 - Implementing the recommendations of Faculty Council.
