Digital Transformation Unit

Overview:

This unit provides all electronic services that serve the university’s various entities and contributes to the institutional structure and digital transformation through the automation of traditional procedures and models to achieve the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. It also contributes to the development of electronic business, digital transformation requirements, projects, and digital initiatives to provide excellent and high quality technical services.

Mission:

Providing a smart digital electronic system that contributes to achieving the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by using technology optimally to support the university’s educational and research work and digital transformation.

Tasks:

 

- Follow up on the transactions and correspondences referred to the unit about the automation of electronic procedures and transactions and digital transformation.
- Set the necessary visions for the automation of electronic procedures and transactions and digital transformation.
- Provide consultations to the University Vice-Rector's Office for Educational Affairs in the field of automation of procedures, electronic transactions, and digital transformation
- List all requirements and evidence for achieving digital transformation of the Vice-Rector's Office and its sub-departments.
- Prepare and submit periodic and annual reports on the progress of electronic transactions and digital transformation.
- Undertake any developments and updates.
