The Guidance, Counseling and Student Rights Unit

The Guidance, Counseling and Student Rights Unit believes in the importance of students and the necessity of helping them. To achieve this, an action plan has been developed for guidance programs and activities that align with vision, mission and goals of the unit.

The mission of the Unit at the College of Nursing is to create an educational environment that supports positive student behavior and helps them adapt and integrate positively into the programs and activities to overcome their academic, psychological and social problems to excel in their academic performance. 

The Unit has specialized counselors to help students overcome academic, psychological and social difficulties and challenges. The Unit also is concerned with the health aspect of students and provides appropriate services for students with disabilities. It also holds exhibitions and introductory lectures about the college and guide students professionally to meet the demand of the labor market. 

Other services provided to students include issuing university cards, medical referrals, photography services as well as listening to their ideas and suggestions.
