In the presence of vice-rectors and deans of colleges and deanships, MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren launched a new university council electronic system.
The vice-dean for student affairs, Dr. Jawaher Al-Omar, welcomed the head of female department at IT Deanship, Ms. Ashjan Al-Huzaimi, to review the Deanship’s achievement.
In recognition of its efforts during the coronavirus pandemic, the Deanship of IT won MU Rector’s Award for Quality and Excellence- 1440/1441 (category of deanships).

An inspection visit was paid by MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren to the Deanship of Information Technology to check the preparations made by the deanship to ensure the distance learning applications are operating effectively.
The Deanship of Information Technology set up a 24-customer service room, led by the dean, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wenien and both the vice-dean for technical affairs and the vice-dean for services and systems.
In attempt to improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and at the request of the Dean of Information Technology, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wenien, the Help Desk Department implemented new procedures to track the requests of services provided by IT Deanship.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between Majmaah University and the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance. The memorandum calls for strategic collaboration in different fields including the implementation of advisory and technical services.

The Dean of IT, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wanien has honored the staff Tariq Al-Asaus in recognition of his outstanding efforts at the department of analysis and design at the dean’s office. A plaque and a certificate of appreciation were handed to him.
