The launch phase began by a welcoming speech for the vice-rector for graduate studies and scientific research, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumaih, who pointed out that this self-developed system is important as it fulfills one of the university goals, and that is to become ‘a paperless university’.

A visual presentation was shown highlighting the phases that the council has undergone since it was set up in 1431 AH and up to the current year. During that period, 75 meetings were held, and 1079 topics were discussed, consuming approximately 24431 papers.
