Faculty of dentistry in Zulfi has conducted its second workshop sponsored by the dean of the faculty Prof. Mansour Bin Ibraheem al-Mansour last Thursday, in Midareem Karawan Hotel in Riyadh under the title “Curriculum of Faculty of Dentistry in Zulfi “. The workshop was attended by the international expert and dean of faculty of dentistry in Edlid University, the chairman of dentistry faculties board in Australia, in addition to the Saudi expert Dr. Khalid Alwazan, dean of faculty of dentistry in King Sa’aud University, Dr. Abdelrahman al-Attram, deputy dean, Dr. Samer al-Jitayli, the consultant of the faculty Dr. Ra’aed al-Sadhan, Dr. Mua’ataz Abdulkader and Dr. Hassan al-Misha’aly. The workshop was commenced by a presentation for the curriculum of faculty of dentistry presented by the dean of the faculty and Dr. Mua’ataz Abdulkader. Then, the floor was opened for discussion where the experts enriched the workshop with several feedbacks and suggestions. After that, the dean of the faculty, Dr. Mansour al-Mansour presented the ten questions which should be asked whenever any curriculum is to be designed. It is worthy to mention that the first and second drafts of the curriculum of faculty of dentistry has been completed and refereed by two of Arab experts. The final draft has been sent to three external referees. The curriculum of the faculty adopts the most recent knowledge in the field of medical education within the capability of the faculty.
