His Excellency Rector of the University thanks the Custodian of the tow Holly Mosques for his Approval to Establish a Research Centre for Engineering and Applied Science in the University

His Excellency Rector of the University Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad al-Muqrin presented his thanks to his majesty, the Custodian of the tow Holly Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz the prime minister and chairman of the board of higher education for his approval to the decrees issued by the board of higher education in its eighty sixth meeting which also incorporates establishing a research center for applied science and engineering at al-Majma’ah University.

His Excellency Dr. Khalid has stated that this approval shows his majesty’s concerns and support for the advancement of higher education in the kingdom and providing all what it needs to achieve its goals. Such kind of support is what assists the institutions of higher education in our country to attain great achievements and leaps of its kind.

The Rector has also referred to the efforts made by his Excellency the minister of higher education Professor. Khalid Bin Mohammad al-angry and his deputy to the university until it was able to complete its administrative, organizational structures and academic units systems. His Excellency has also stated that the approval to establish a research center for engineering and applied science at the university will be a strong motivation for more success to achieve the mission of the university. As a result, the university will instantly initiate in establishing the center on scientific basis and select qualified cadres to manage the center in a proper manner to achieve its goals via constant care for the path of scientific research in the field of engineering and applied science as well as the other fields in the university and to find specialized scientific paths, expanding the aspects of scientific research and linking the research projects in the center with the needs of society and developmental plans.
