The Deanship of E-learning and Distance Learning called upon all faculty members and students to make use of the e-learning system which promotes and supports the traditional educational approach. The system includes several aspects that can be useful including: Course Description, Educational content, assignments and tests, Education files management, Forums and posts, Virtual Classroom and Announcements. The Dean of E-learning and Distance Learning Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari noted that this system has been accomplished and linked to the university systems in the Admission and Registration via supporting the Admissions and Registration Deanship and the Deanship of Information Technology as an attempt by the university to develop the methods of learning and communication between teachers and students. His Excellency also noted that the Deanship provides training and disseminate e-learning education via a systematic plan that has been prepared and will be implemented by this year. Part of the plan has been implemented in the summer semester. His Excellency also noted the support of His Highness the Rector Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al-Mogren for the Deanship especially at the stage of the endorsement of the e-learning system and His Highness directives to draw stimulating policies for faculty members to interact with the systems of e-learning and develop their abilities in learning techniques. In this regard, His Excellency the Dean of e-learning and distance learning expressed his thanks to the colleagues working in the deanship who made a great efforts during the summer vacation to prepare and activate the e-learning system to be read at the beginning of this semester through continuous coordination with the National Center for e-learning and distance learning at the Ministry of Higher Education which resulted in successful in the activation plan.
