University, represented by His Excellency; dean of quality and skills development Dr. Khaled bin Mohamed Al-Jarallah, under supervision and follow-up of His Excellency; Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Moqrin, participated in a workshop under title: "Outputs of Learning programs and curriculums based on the national frame of qualifications for health, human, scientific and engineering specialties" which have been held by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency in which a number of governmental and private high education institutions principals within the kingdom and experts from the united kingdom as well as consultants of the Agency participated. Secretary General of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency, Prof. Abdullah Al Mussalam indicated that this workshop is an advanced one which follows a previous workshop presented by the Agency concerning the outputs of learning in general. This workshop is considered to be more specialized and it addresses the appropriate outputs of learning according to specialties. It lies among a range of workshops and training programs offered by the Agency and divided into levels to enhance the university for optimization the educational outputs.
Also, Dr. Bothayna Al Morshid, one of the consultants in the Agency, indicated that participants in this workshop gained training on how to design the learning outputs at the level of programs and curriculums and in compliance with the national frame of the qualifications and requirements of the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency. Also, they have been provided by multiple sources, best practices and global experiences. It tackles achievements of the university in this field, their queries, the most important challenges and obstacles and its potential solutions.
Dr. Ibtsam Al Madhi, a partner in the Faculty of Dentistry said: "Workshop was valuable in its content which discuss the importance of determination of the education outputs at the level of the educational institutions, the program and the subject which focus on the student learning in comparison to the traditional learning process. The discussion hold among the participants in the workshop was fruitful in the sense that it showed the university different applications related to such occasion within the kingdom. Dr. Khaled bin Mohamed Al-Jarallah, dean of quality and skills development declared: "The workshop concerning the education based on the outputs was deemed to be a continuation of specific activities hold by National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency to upgrade the level of the higher education quality. We in Al Majamaah University, give the priority of work to the quality programs and the academic accreditation and pay attention to the effective participation of the university members in this activities, particularly if the speakers are those experts selected by the authority carefully which reflects upon the workshop quality.
