DEAN OF ENGINEERING COLLEGE MEETS A DELEGATION OF KING ABDULLAH BIN ABDUL AZIZ CITY FOR ATOMIC AND RENEWABLE ENERGY

His Excellency the dean of engineering college Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah met a delegation of King Abdulla Bin Abdul Aziz for Atomic and Renewable Energy.

During the meeting, a discussion took place with regard to the details of constructing environment monitoring station in the campus that can record on constant basis the climate components, most importantly the level of solar radiation which provides a measurement that could be used in research related to solar energy. The station will also measure the wind speed and direction, humidity percentage and sand in weather. All these measurement will be provided instantly on the university e-portal for all researchers.

During the meeting, an agreement was researched pertinent to all necessary procedures for installing and operating the environment monitoring station within three months under the supervision of a research team.
