As part of the ongoing collaboration between the General Administration for Projects, Operations, and Maintenance and various university departments, the administration—represented by Eng. Majed Al-Ali, Director of Projects—welcomed a group of recent graduates from the College of Engineering. This initiative aims to enhance graduates' practical knowledge and support their transition from academic life to the job market.

The visit featured a brief presentation outlining the key roles and responsibilities of the General Administration for Projects. The presentation highlighted the department's vital contribution to the development of the university’s infrastructure and its involvement in implementing a wide range of campus projects.

Following the introduction, the students embarked on a field tour of several ongoing construction and development projects within the university campus. The tour gave them a valuable opportunity to observe different project stages, learn about execution methods, and understand the real-world challenges faced by project teams—adding a hands-on dimension to their academic background.

The visit also included discussions on the Saudi Building Code and how its standards are integrated throughout the design and construction phases. The session emphasized the importance of applying these standards to ensure the highest levels of quality, safety, and sustainability in all university projects.
