MU RECTOR HOLDS A MEETING TO REVIEW THE UNIVERSITY 12TH REPORT

As part of the university's pursuit to achieve the third strategic plan, MU rector, Prof. Saleh Al-Mizil, conducted a meeting, in the presence of vice-rectors, to discuss the 12th annual report of the university. 

Highlighting the importance of following-up these reports, the rector said the vetting process will improve the university performance. 

Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the Adviser and supervisor of administrative, financial and technical affairs and the Chairman of the Standing Committee for Reports, pointed out that the university's report showed a substantial progress in recruitment including all initiatives s subsuming these jobs.

The chairman of annual report, Dr. Faisal Al-Mutairi, presented a detailed account of the report as follow: 

Chapter One: Decision-making enablement presents the university’s structure and classification locally and at Arab levels. It also provides digital data about the university.

Chapter Two discusses education at the university including accredited programs locally and nationally, the processes of developing classrooms for students and graduates, admission and registration, student activities and services, academic advising, means of communication with students, and quality of education.

 

Chapter Three addresses the university knowledge production including the university's efforts in scientific research and postgraduate programs, the activity of scientific societies, innovation, conferences, international cooperation in the field of research, and university libraries.

Chapter Four focuses on community development and sustainability including university programs in the field of sustainable development and community service, social responsibility, volunteer activities, the United Nations goals for sustainable development 2030, and the women's empowerment.

Chapter Five discusses the university's services including transportation and logistic services, maintenance and operation, security services, and medical services.

Chapter Six focuses on the development of human capabilities including training staff, faculty members and students.

Chapter Seven addresses the financial and legal affairs and spending efficiency including facilities, development in the university budget, approved projects, competitions, efficient spending, and legal affairs in the university. .

Chapter Eight discusses the investment system at the university including the governance of this activity through the launch of the investment fund initiative. 

Chapter Nine discusses the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 including the Office of Initiatives Management and Realization of Vision at the University, developing a website for the Center, the activation of 'Qiyas' platform, and the development of a number of activities to support the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Chapter Ten focuses on performance measurement and future goals including the university's efforts to automate the measurement of performance indicators, the results of the university's key performance indicators, and the university's future goals.
