Saudi CIFAL Center organizes the 15th meeting under the title: "The Role of Community Awareness in Confronting the Reality of Antibiotic (Resistance)"

The Saudi CIFAL Center organized on the Antibiotic Awareness Week the 15th meeting under the title: "The Role of Community Awareness in Confronting the Reality of Antibiotic (Resistance)". The online meeting was held in the presence of an elite group of academics and advocates and was hosted by the researcher in pharmacology and toxicology, Prof. Khalid Al-Mutairi.

Moderated by Mr. Turki Al-Humaidani, the Executive Director of the Medical Rehabilitation and Prosthetics Center, the meeting addressed the importance of community awareness in combating antibiotic resistance as it is seen as a global health problem that requires concerted efforts to limit its spread. 

During the meeting, ways to enhance awareness among individuals and communities about the optimal use of antibiotics and avoiding their random use were discussed. The role of health and educational institutions in spreading sound health culture was highlighted along with the latest global studies and recommendations in this field.
