The Saudi CIFAL Center organizes the 17th meeting under the theme 'The Role of Education and Community Development in Achieving Social Justice

The Saudi CIFAL Center organized the seventeenth meeting under the theme 'The Role of Education and Community Development in Achieving Social Justice.' A group of academics and advocates in the meeting which was presented by Prof. Saleh Al-Rumaih, a Professor of Sociology, and was moderated by Dr. Ahmed Al-Dajani, a Professor of Administration and Planning.

Prof. Al-Rumaih emphasized that 'social justice is not merely an ethical principle, but a fundamental pillar for achieving sustainable development. Empowering individuals and communities with their economic, social, and educational rights enhances social stability and cohesion.' He added that 'education is one of the most important tools for achieving social justice. Through education, we ensure equal opportunities and grant individuals the ability to improve their lives and contribute to the development of their communities. 

Dr. Al-Rumaih stressed that investing in education is investing in a fairer and more equitable future.' He also touched on the importance of reducing economic and social disparities.

He concluded his speech by asserting that 'social justice is not a luxury; it is the foundation of peace and stability. When everyone has equal opportunities in education, work, and development, comprehensive progress is achieved, and societies rise with their members, without discrimination or exclusion.
