The Deanship Participates with the Cloud Computing Training Course in the 12th E-learning Seminar at Al-Jouf University

The Deanship of e-learning and distance learning at Majmaah university participates in setting up a training course entitled "Cloud Computing in education" and that's within the 12th e-learning seminar at Al-Jouf University. It is in partnership with the National Centre for e-learning and distance education at the Ministry of Higher Education.

 

This seminar is one of the seminars organised by the National Centre for e-learning and distance education after each semester, it is held at its 12th session in Al-Jouf University, where the Deanship participates with a training course presented by the lecturer at the Educational Sciences Department, and the Director of the Training Unit at the Deanship Mr. Faisal bin Hakim Al-Shammari, entitled "Cloud Computing in Education". 

 

In this context, HE Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari the Dean of e-learning and distance learning announced that the training course talks about cloud computing and how it made a significant difference not only in the field of education, but even in the field of technologies and projects development and others, and to what extent will be the effect of this cloud in education and how its applications will be in higher education. Also, how to take advantage of the computing applications to create accounts for different applications, build pages, presentation slides and e-drawings, in addition to building quiz and survey prototypes, connecting cloud computing applications, manufacturing (Qr_code) and (URL) shortcut in cloud computing.

 

This training course targets several categories, including educational designers, faculty members, and those alike, curriculum experts, e-learning officials and graduate students. It is noteworthy that these continuos training participations presented in number of forums wither locally or internationally are the seventh in a row and it wouldn't be so without the absolute support from the leaderships of the university represented by the support and approval of HE the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren to participate in  e-learning and distance learning fields.

 

It should be noted that the 12th seminar will be held in 2-3/6/1435 on Wednesday and Thursday at the University of Al-Jouf.
