The Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin received the third annual report of Deanship of e-learning and distance learning for the academic year 1433/1434 during a meeting with the employees of the Deanship in the meeting room, led by the Dean of e-learning and distance learning Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari, the Vice Dean and representative for Academic Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Nashi Al-mudairbi, the Deanship advisers Dr. Hisham Al-Saghir, Dr. Ali Al-Harbi and Dr. Omar Al-Saidi, the Director of the Training Unit Mr. Faisal Hakem Al-Shammari, the educational channel director Mr. AbdulIlah Al-Mutairi and all the employees of the Deanship.
The Dean of e-learning and distance learning Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari made clear that this report is the outcome of the efforts and achievements in the field of e-learning and its integrated system made by the Deanship during the past academic year 1433/1434, The report included statistical information that helps in measuring the level of quality for working areas in e-learning and services provided for university staff of faculty members, and giving an idea about the strength and improvement points for the coming period through mentioning initiatives and what has been achieved in an effort to enhance the university's vision to achieve its strategic plan according to performance indications affecting the success and excellence of academic education.
The Deanship delegation handed over a copy of the report to his Excellency the representative for Academic Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Ali Al-Rukban in a meeting with him in the hall of ceremonies in the university administration building, and to his Excellency the representative for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research Dr. Mohammed Al-shayae in his office. Through both meetings a brief presentation of the report content, and a brief explanation of what has been accomplished was provided, attached with reports from projects organized by the Deanship during the academic year 1433/1434 such as training faculty members at Majmaah University and at some Saudi universities, supplying educational halls and training laboratories at the campus, participating in a number of educational forums on the level of educational institutions of higher education, lunching the systems of technical support for e-learning and committees and councils systems, the committees and councils (II), the electronic certificates modification the admission and registration for training courses. Also, the production of a number of episodes for the educational channel and survey forms for the beneficiaries of the Deanship services and training programs. An overview of the Deanship future projects and the efforts of women's e-learning units were presented as well.
Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari indicated that in the coming period of the new academic year the Deanship aims at the continuation of the distinction and achievement of initiatives. Also, his Excellency expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin and the university representatives for their continuous support for the Deanship stemming from their eagerness to rise up its aims to perform its mission towards excellence in e-learning and its applications in the educational environment.
