A DISTANCE MEETING HELD FOR FOSTER FAMILIES IN RIYADH ON THE PSYCHOLOGICAL RESPONSE TO CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

The e-Learning and Distance Education Deanship, in cooperation with the Social Responsibility Observatory, held a distance meeting for foster families in Riyadh, entitled “The Psychological Response to Coronavirus Pandemic”. The Vice-Dean for Development and Quality, Dr. Mohammed Aba-Hussein, pointed out that based on the approval of the Vice-Rector and Supervisor of the Deanship, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, a series of educational meeting were conducted for more than 3000 foster families in Riyadh. The meetings, presented by Dr. Alhumaidi Al-Daydan, Associate Professor of Educational Psychology, began on Monday, Ramadan 1441 AH. The first meeting was outstanding as it addressed important aspects pertinent to foster families and their children on how to response to the side effects of coronavirus pandemic. Such a meeting was a good opportunity to demonstrate the capacity possessed by the university.
