In Pursuit to View the Latest E-educational Developments a Delegation from the Medical Faculty and the Deanship of e-learning Visits South Korea

Based on the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Mugren's order and HE the Vice Rector and the Dean of e-learning, Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari's supervision, a delegation from the university  visited a number of educational institutions and consulting firms in the field of e-learning in the Republic of South Korea in order to view the latest medical technology and e-learning equipments and to discuss the ways to take advantage of them at the university. The delegation included HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Abdelwahab the Dean of the Medicine college and the supervisor of the medical services, HE Dr. Khalid bin Nashi Al-Mudaibry the Vice Dean for Educational Affairs at the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning, and HE Dr. Ali bin Hamoud Al-Harbi the Vice Dean for Development and Quality at the Deanship of e-learning and distance learning, the delegation began its first tour to Pusan ​​National University, then it  moved to  Pusan ​​National University Yangsan Hospital, the delegation concluded its tour with a visit to the Institute of APEC Collaboration Education (IACE) for e-training services, through that tour the delegation visited to a number of companies specialising in modern medical educational equipments and modern hospitals e-educational equipment, and viewed the latest electronic educational products and some applied practices and how to take advantage of them in the Korean universities and hospitals. The delegation had a meeting with advisers of the educational technology, the meeting focused on electronic facilities in institutions of higher education. Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al-Dosari expressed his deep thanks and gratitude to the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Saad Al-Mugren for his constant support for all who contribute to the improvement of the educational process at the university to serve its students and faculty members, HE announced the university administration pursuit to develop the e-educational facilities in its colleges to ensure the benefit from the successful experiences of others. This announcement resulted in the higher administration communication with some distinguished organisations in this field to assess their experiences and how they benefit from such facilities before working on the polarisation in the colleges Majmaah university.
