Ministry of Education Passes the Amendments to Article Thirty-Three of Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities

The Interim Committee assigned with Higher Education Council endorsed at its 2nd meeting in 13/3/1437 AH, that the final version of article thirty-three of the Uniform Regulations for Postgraduate Studies in Saudi Universities will be as follows: Masters study must be in one of the following two methods: 1. Courses and thesis in which the number of units of study must be at least twenty-four units plus the thesis. 2. Courses only in certain disciplines, where the council of the university is to determine the required number of units of study depending on the nature of discipline that the number of units of study must be at least thirty units, and taking into account that the masters study plan must include graduate courses from other departments related to the discipline whenever possible.
