Scholarship and Training Committee Thirteenth and Fourteenth's Meeting

The university Scholarships and Training Committee resumes its meetings in order to achieve its continuous and supportive vision to scholars from the university staff. It held its thirteenth and fourteenth meeting for the academic year 1436/1437 H under the chairmanship of the Vice Rector for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, Dr. Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Shayaa,. Dr. Al-Shayaa stated that scholarships have been approved to be given to Amchaa Bent Zayed Al-Mutairi to study English language at Oregon State University, USA, Athiir Bent Abdullatif Al-Jeraisy at the University of California, and the lecturer Khadija Bint Ali Al-Ghamdi at the University of South Florida as well as the lecturer Amel Bent Abdullah Almazid to pursue her doctorate in Applied Linguistics and teach English to non-native speakers for three years at the University of Porta. Also, it was approved to upgrade the scholarships of the scholar Sultan Awad Al-Harbi from language study to doctoral studies in computer science at the University of Southampton, UK, the scholar Thamer Bin Muhammed Al-Masoud from language study to Masters in computer science at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, USA, and Abdel Moneim Bin Abdullah Al-Abdelmoneim from language study to Masters in information systems at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Further, it was approved to extend the scholarship tenure to Ahmed Bin Abdullah Zahrani, Essam Bin Sharaf Al-Maliki, Shadi Bin Abdullah Shuweir , Ali Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais , Labibah Bint Mosleh Al-Anzi and Bassema Bint Mouawad Mutairi at different stages.
