Within the framework of cooperation between the Deanship of Library Affairs (DLA) and other colleges to allow students and faculty members to benefit from the wide-range of services offered by the deanship, a consulting meeting was held by the DLA for Vice-Deans of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.
The meeting was launched by a talk for the dean, Dr. Shadi Al-Shuwayer about the necessity of cooperation between the DLA and the Vice-Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to benefit from the services provided by the deanship.
Dr. Al-Shuwayer also made a reference to the expansion of the central library which featured new facilities for researchers.
A discussion took place in the presence of the vice-dean, Dr. Musaed Al-Harbi on the possibility of mutual cooperation among the deanships and colleges to promote the culture of visiting libraries.
The meeting was wrapped up by a number of recommendations which will be turned into a working plan for the DLA and the vice-dean’s office for graduate studies and scientific research at colleges.
Finally, the vice-deans paid a visit to the central library to see the new facilities such as the writing center, quite reading zoon and study rooms.
