The University Strategic Plan Team visited the College of Medicine on Sunday 11/5/1439 to review the indicators of the University plan. The team was received by Dean of the College of Medicine and Supervisor of Medical Services Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Abdalwahab.
During the visit, Dr. Saad bin Thoar Al Qahtani, the supervisor of the Strategic Planning Department, appreciated the warm reception and presented a brief overview of the methodology of following the indicators of the strategic plan for the current academic year.
The indicators were reviewed in the first strategic report of the University, and the gaps between the target and achieved outcomes were discussed. Then, the Dean received a printed version of the Report.
During the meeting, there was an agreement to form a team at the College to follow up the indicators and set up a file to each indicator to make it easier for everyone to access the information when needed.
The Strategic Planning Department examines the initiatives that are compatible with the nature of the medical sciences sector in the university as one of the sectors that support the realization of the vision and mission of the university in the framework of its social and national responsibilities.
The second strategic report seeks to examine the diversity of performance in humanities and basic sciences, on the one hand, and the medical sciences on the other.
This came within the working plan of the strategic planning to organize a number of visits and workshops for all coordinators of the Strategic Plan in all departments of the University in accordance with the directions of MU Rector Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al-Muqrin and follow-up of the Vice-Rector, Dr. Mosallam Al- Dossari.
