In line with the efforts exerted by the university to improve safety requirements, the General Administration of Services (GAS) conducted a number of field workshops focusing on transportation risk management.
The director of GAS, Mr. Moteb Al-Maymoni said that these workshops were conducted at the request of the vice-rector and aim to maintain safety requirements and predict road risk using the transportation risk management platform.
There is more than one element involved in increasing the safety level of transportation. These elements, added Mr. Al-Maymoni, are: the driver, bus, field observer, police officer and lastly the partnership with different security sectors during high-level of risk.
Many experts participated in the workshops from the General Administration of Services and the General Administration of Security.
Mr. Al-Mymoni extended his thanks to everyone contributed in the success of the workshop which aims to increase the level of risk prediction, commending the support of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Muqren and the Vice-Rector, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari for their support and follow-up of the transportation services.
