Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs lectures on "Reading between Knowledge and Application

In the context of the university Vice-Presidency for Educational Affairs' interest in the students' cognitive aspect, the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Dr. Ahmed Bin Saleh Al-Rumaih delivered a lecture under the title " Reading between Knowledge and Application". The lecture was held by the university Reading Club, targeting the university students, on Monday, 6th Rabeea Al-Awal, 1438H. Among the attendants were a number of the university's officials and students. Dr. Al-Rumaih initiated his lecture talking reviewing the evolution of reading through history. He pointed to the exponential growth of knowledge which requires time management and skill development to keep up with this development. He also reviewed many skills that open new horizons as reading books translated from many languages. He stressed on the importance of reading and its role in the students' personal and intellectual development, and promoting their abilities and skills
