The Rectorship of the University has participated in the Fifth Meeting of the University Vice-Rectors in charge of projects, operation, maintenance safety and security, which was hosted by King Faisal University in Al-Ahsa for this academic year 1436/ 1437 AH. The meeting witnessed the participation of Saudi universities and the integration of general education with higher education for the first time, after the decisions of incorporation. The agenda of the Fifth Meeting of Saudi Universities' Vice-Rectors, who are responsible for projects, operation, maintenance, safety and security included three Sessions. The first Session contained several issues such as; Remarks on the management of safety, the promotion of safety and health procedures in labs and a vision on project management. The Second Session included; the Main campus: Achievements and Constraints, Standard and Procedure for safety for Academic Accreditation of Scientific Programs/KFU, automating maintenance orders and preparing Faculty projects). Moreover, the third Session included proposals by a number of universities as well as a number of discussions. Majmaah University, which was represented by the Rectorship, participated with its experience in the office of project management, where the meeting strongly emphasized the current trend by the Ministry to activate and establish the offices of project management across the Universities as one of the strategic options for project management in a scientific way to ensure its success. The University also participated in drafting and amending the final Recommendations of the Meeting.
