Overview

The Master's Program in Human Resource Management was established at the College of Management at Majmaah University in 1442 AH. It aims to graduate qualified leaders who meet the needs of the labor market in the field of human resource management. The program seeks to achieve advanced educational outcomes by enabling students to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to manage individuals effectively.

The program focuses on developing students' capabilities in areas such as strategic human resource planning, performance management, and employee development, contributing to enhancing their ability to make informed, scientifically based decisions.

The program also strives to instill a set of core values ​​in students, such as integrity and professional ethical practices, enhancing their ability to function effectively in diverse work environments.

The program also encourages students to actively participate in research and professional groups and supports their ability to assume responsibility and initiative in professional planning. Through these components, the program aims to prepare leaders capable of facing contemporary challenges and contributing to the development of the organizations in which they work.

Requirements

General Requirements:

  1. ⁠The applicant must be Saudi or hold an official postgraduate scholarship if they are non-Saudi.
  2. ⁠Must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university.
  3. Must have good conduct and behavior and be medically fit.
  4. ⁠Must provide two academic recommendations from professors who have previously taught them.
  5. If employed, the applicant must obtain approval from their employer, especially if required by their workplace.

Department-Specific Admission Requirements:

  1. The applicant must have a cumulative GPA of at least: (3.0 out of 5.0) or (2.25 out of 4.0) or (70% out of 100%) from a Saudi university or a recognized foreign university.
  2. ⁠The applicant must have a minimum score of 3.0 in the IELTS exam or an equivalent certification.
  3. ⁠The applicant must attach General Aptitude Test (GAT) results with a minimum score of 60%.
  4. The applicant must pass the written exam and personal interview conducted by the department.
  5. Eligible bachelor's degree specializations include:
    • Business Administration.
    • Public Administration.
    • Economics.
    • Accounting.
    • Management Information Systems.
    • Human Resources.
    • Marketing.
    • Financial Management.
  6. ⁠Applicants with a bachelor’s degree outside the specified specializations must complete supplementary courses in their first semester with a grade of at least “Good”. An exception is made for those holding a higher diploma in Business Administration or Human Resources.
  7. ⁠Weight distribution for selection criteria:
    • 20% - Bachelor’s GPA.
    • 15% - English proficiency test score
    • 25% - General Aptitude Test (GAT) score
    • 10% - Degree relevance to specialization
    • 30% - Full-time enrollment during undergraduate studies
