The Center of Outstanding Initiatives (COI) was established under the MU Rector resolution no. (1648), reporting directly to the rector of MU. Like other departments, The COI aims to provide services within the purview of the center.

مركز المبادرات النوعية أنشأ بالقرار الإداري رقم (1648) من معالي مدير الجامعة، ويرتبط تنظيمياً بمدير الجامعة مباشرةً. ويسهم المركز، كبقية إدارات الجامعة، بخدمة الجامعة وفقاً للاختصاصات والمهام المناطة به.

Majmaah University, led by the rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, has strived since its establishment to adopt initiatives that contribute to the development of the university in scientifically and developmental areas. The decision of MU rector to establish a Center of Outstanding Initiatives (COI) is an evidence of the university concern to sponsor and support any idea or project of educational value that will generate income and/or moral support to the university.

منذ تأسيس جامعة المجمعة، حرصت إدارة الجامعة ممثلة بمعالي المدير الدكتور خالد بن سعد المقرن على تبني المبادرات التي تخدم الجامعة في المجالات العلمية والتطويرية. ويأتي قرار معاليه بتأسيس مركز المبادرات النوعية كدليل على حرص إدارة الجامعة على احتضان أي فكرة أو مشروع يخدم العملية التعليمية ويسهم في تطوير الجامعة بشكل مميز ويكون لها الأثر المادي أو المعنوي على الجامعة.
