The Unit of Software Develops a Service of SMS Credit Transfer
The Software Unit at IT Deanship strives to develop several characteristics to the e-portal services. Eng. Azoz Al-Hasani stated that this unit is constantly is working on developing the most common services. In this regard, a system has been developed that transfer the SMS credits among users. The employee is able to transfer any number of SMS to any other employee. The system also provides a detailed report of all the records.

The unit of programing at IT Deanship has developed the feature of sending SMS via e-services. User is able to enter his/her name at the beginning of the message which will facilitate the receiver to know the sender.
Mr. Tariq Al-Asoos from programing unit that this method is easier than the previous one as it won't enable the receiver to know the source where he received the message.
IT Deanship launched the system of automatic alarm
IT Deanship launched the system of automatic alarm which enables His Highness the Rector and the Vice-Rectors, deans, heads of departments and university staff to write down their appointments of meetings. This system will remind them later via sending SMS to their mobiles to remind them with appointment of the meeting.
Mr. Salman Al-Harithy from Programing Unit noted that this work in the e-portal and available with all university staff.
A Female Team of IT Deanship Visits the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Majmaah
A Female Team of IT Deanship visited the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center in Majmaah on Monday 2/3/1434H. They were welcomed by the supervisor of the center (female section) Kaydah Al-Oteibi.
The entertainment day began at the auditorium of the center followed by a tour to the center departments. The visit was concluded by extending thanks to the center for the wonderful hospitality and welcome.

Majmaah University has moved up in the world international ranking (Webometrics). The university website (www.mu.edu.sa) was ranked No. 12 among 60 Saudi universities and No. 75 among more than 725 Arab universities.
