THE DEANSHIP OF IT SUBMITS THE ANNUAL REPORT TO THE VICE-RECTOR FOR EDUCATIONAL AFFAIRS
Dr. Omar Al-Mutaihi, Dean of IT Deanship paid a visit to His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Prof. Mohammad Al-Rukban where the former submitted the annual report of the deanship. The report included the most prominent achievements and statistical numbers.

As the female section of IT Department is greatly concerned about the participation in the week of technology & e-transactions at Majmaah University, the unit of information technology at College of Science & Humanities in Remah (female section) has hold a special corner for the IT Deanship. The individuals of the unit have also distributed the invitations to the college staff and academicians as well as students in all departments.

The Deanship of IT has participated in the Week of Technology & E-Transactions which was patronized by His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and attended by their Excellency the Vice-rectors, Deans of Colleges and Supported Deanship.
This week is deemed as the result of four years of attempting in shifting the entire services of the university to be electronic which exceeded 70 electronic services.
The Unit of Software Develops a Service of SMS Credit Transfer
The Software Unit at IT Deanship strives to develop several characteristics to the e-portal services. Eng. Azoz Al-Hasani stated that this unit is constantly is working on developing the most common services. In this regard, a system has been developed that transfer the SMS credits among users. The employee is able to transfer any number of SMS to any other employee. The system also provides a detailed report of all the records.
The unit of programing at IT Deanship has developed the feature of sending SMS via e-services
The unit of programing at IT Deanship has developed the feature of sending SMS via e-services. User is able to enter his/her name at the beginning of the message which will facilitate the receiver to know the sender.
Mr. Tariq Al-Asoos from programing unit that this method is easier than the previous one as it won't enable the receiver to know the source where he received the message.
