The College of Computer Science and Information Technology holds a Seminar on Current Trends in Science and Technology

Within the series of seminars organized by the college of computer science and information on the latest technologies and scientific research output related to computer science and information technology, the IT department held in the presence of all its faculty members a seminar entitled:

CURRENT TRENDS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

IT Department faculty member Dr. Manjunatha Lakshman presented an exceptionally rich seminar where he started by the latest scientific findings in the field of sensors. He then enumerated their categories on the basis of operation principles and fields of use such as in medical sciences and care and telecommunications.

The second part of the seminar dealt with OLED technology and its applications in real life as well as its future uses compared with traditional LED technology.

By the end of the seminar a discussion took place between attending faculty members and Dr. Lakshman.
