The Deanship of Scientific Research is associated with the Vice-Rector’s Office for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

1 - Proposing the university's annual research plan and preparing the necessary draft budget for it before being submitted to the Scientific Council.

2 - Developing the regulations, rules and procedures regulating the movement of scientific research at the university.

1 - Developing or amending the general policy for postgraduate studies, coordinating it in all colleges and institutes of the university, and monitoring its implementation after its approval.

2 - Proposing internal regulations in coordination with the scientific departments with regard to the organization of graduate studies.
