The Administration of Facilities and Housing honored a number of its staff members.
The Director of the Administration expressed his appreciation to the staff for their efforts during the past period, wishing them success in the future.
The Director-General of the Public Department of Facilities and Housing, Mr. Bedah Al-Bedah issued a decision appointing Mr. Ahmed Al-Salloum as a Director of Facilities as of 3/6/1439.
On this occasion, Mr. Ahmad thanked the Director General of the Department for his confidence.
Housing and Facilities Unit took initiative to support people with special needs by marking their parking lot with different colors and placing a sign that reads “people of determination”.
Surveillance cameras were installed in housing of faculty members to maintain safety and security of residents.
The third meeting of General Department of Facilities and Housing was held on Monday at meeting hall in Zulfi. The meeting was chaired by the Assistant of General Department of Facilities and Housing and addressed a number of topics related to organizing the work at departments.
The Vice-Rector appointed Mr. Waleed Bin Mohammed Al Zuneidi as Assistant Director of the General Department of Facilities and Housing in addition to his previous position. Mr. Waleed thanked the Vice-Rector for his trust.

The General Manager of Housing and Facilities along with the Directors of both Housing and Supportive Services paid a visit to The General Department of Operation and Maintenance where they were received by the General Manager of Operation and Maintenance Mr. Othman Al-Issa.
As part of the plans made by the Department of Facilities and Housing for new year, the plan for running housing programs was launched, taking into consideration different age groups (children, women, and men) and that all activities taking place are varied.

1. Appointment of Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Al-Turairi as Director of Housing in Zulfi province
In compliance with the directives of MU rector and vice-rectors to set clearly the intended plans, objectives and strategies, the Department of Facilities and Housing has reviewed the achievements of 2017 and has been working on preparing plans, initiatives and objectives until 2020.
Under the follow-up and supervision of MU Vice-Rector and Head of the Housing Committee, Dr. Mosallam Al-Dosari, the Housing Department has completed the checking, sorting and announcement of the names of the applicants for Class 'A' apartments.
The Department of Facilities and Housing is to start issuing electric bills in coordination with the Deanship of Information Technology. A discussion has taken place to find out the suitable mechanism of issuing the bills via the housing e-portal.
The Administration of Facilities and Housing examined jointly with the Department of Operation and Maintenance the electricity meters in the faculty apartments within the scheduled regular maintenance program.
